Avatans Kumar

Born and brought up in the historic city of Patna (Patliputra), the capital city of the mighty Magadh empire, I have a graduate degree in linguistics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, and an MBA from Webster University. I am a great fan of Jagjit Singh, Mehdi Hassan and Beghum Akhtar. I love Hindi literature and S. H. Vatsyayan ‘Agyeya’, Phanishwar Nath ‘Renu’, Usha Priyamveda and Gulzar are my favorite Hindi authors. I play cricket and badminton and do some ‘swantah sukhay’ poetry in Hindi.
