Ø      04/02/02 (3:03 pm)

o       Adya's feeding went up by 1 cc. Now she is getting 11 cc of fortified milk every 2 hours. Here PCVC line is out too.

o       The nurses say that it was a quiet night last night for Adya.

o       She pooped (just a little bit) last night for the first time.

o       The line from her belly button is completely out.  So the only line she has is the PCVC around her left knee.

Ø      3/14/02

o       She was fed twice last night.

o       PCVC was put in around her left knee.

o       Ultrasound was taken on her brain.  Results will be available later today.

Ø      3/13/02

o       Adya was fed (1 cc mom’s milk) for the first time today.  The doctors plan to feed her every 8 hours.

o       She still seems to be doing fine with the CPAP.  Still needs to be ‘reminded’ of breathing every once in a while though.  But the doctors are not concerned with that and they are going to continue with this experiment.

o       Most of the lines are take off of her body.  There is only one through her belly button.  They were able to put her on her belly with her knees folded and butt up.  She seems to like this posture and has been sleeping quite well.

Ø      3/12/02

o       Adya is on CPAP today and is doing quite well with that.  She occasionally forgets to breath on her own and needs to be shaken up every once in a while.  The doctors at the ISCU are going to monitor her.

o       The culture reports came in today.  No infections were reported.

o       Doctors are thinking of putting in a long line (PCVC, I think).

Ø      3/11/02

o       Situation stable.  No complications.  Doctors thinking of putting her on CPAP.

Ø      3/10/02

o       All vital signs ok.  Adya is able to breath without much problem. She is still on ventilator support but is able to breath with room-level oxygen.
